Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) was designed as a humane means to stop feral cat colonies from continuing to reproduce by humanely trapping feral cats, spaying/neutering them, and returning them to their home territories. The Feline Fix’s TNR program also vaccinates all cats against diseases such as distemper and rabies.
Numerous studies have shown that TNR programs are the most reliable method of stabilizing and reducing feral cat populations, with the lowest cost to local governments and residents. Cats that are spayed and neutered enjoy a safer and more comfortable existence, free of the mating behaviors that annoy neighbors and threaten their lives (roaming, fighting, spraying, yowling, and giving birth over and over again.) By sterilizing and managing feral cats, you also prevent countless unwanted kittens from being born on the streets.
Come join us for our next TNR workshop! Learn everything you need to know about TNR and responsible feral cat management. Workshop participants will receive future feral cat surgeries for only $10 each.
Unless otherwise specified, the workshops are held on the third Saturday of every month from 12-3 p.m. at The Feline Fix facility on 2600 West 2nd Avenue, #10, Denver, 80219.
The November 2014 workshop will be held on Saturday, November 22nd.
There is a $5 suggested donation to attend the workshop to cover the cost of printed materials. To register, or for more information, contact Sherri at 303.202.3516 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
